Hello, my best friend lost her apartment in this fire at 1015 Peirce.
How do I get her registered as a recipient for some of the donations?
Thank you.

Heidi: Not sure if you’ve found the info you needed yet or not. I stopped over at the church at 1455 Golden Gate. They have the donated items set up in one of their rooms. Residents who suffered losses may go there and sign in and select some of the things they need.
Note that you need to speak to church staff, as the Red Cross is utilizing the church space and also helping from there, but not running the donations.
Be well!

You should contact Red Cross and check in with the Missionary Temple Church 1445 Golden Gate, who is collecting items.
The Red Cross will be opening a service center for affected residents at the Missionary Temple Church at 10am Tuesday, Dec. 27th. If you need shelter or other assistance before then, call the American Red Cross Bay Area between 9am and 5pm Monday thru Friday at 415-427-8010.

I sincerely hope some of these funds will also be allocated to the victims who lived at 1506, 1504 & 1502 Golden Gate Ave! They are displaced and lost everything as well. I know my neighbors Steve Buford & Tim Caraher would be most appreciative of any assistance!!!
